The Chair makes statements on behalf of AINA and holds general meetings.
There is also an auditor who supervises the activities and property of AINA.

Virtualization &
Intellectualization

Virtualization & Intellectualization Committee Address Virtualization & Intellectualization Technology Advancement

This committee monitors and shares the latest trends in O-DU, O-CU, and RIC technologies, including international standards set by the O-RAN ALLIANCE and 3GPP. It also assesses the current status of virtualization and intellectualization technology development both in Korea and globally. Additionally, the committee outlines a strategic roadmap for the advancement of Korean Open RAN technology.

Open Solution

Open Solution Committee Address Open RAN Standards and Application Enhancement

The Open Solution Committee tracks and shares trends in international standards and technologies related to Open RAN fronthaul. It also evaluates the current status of Open RAN use cases, RU equipment, and components both in Korea and internationally. Additionally, the committee proposes profiling specifications tailored for the Korean market.

Ecosystem

Ecosystem Committee Address Open RAN Ecosystem Development and Integration Activity Description

The Ecosystem Committee plans Open RAN demonstration projects and guides the construction of testbeds to meet industry demands. It supports Open RAN conformance, interoperability, and end-to-end (E2E) test certification through the Korea OTIC, a testbed established by relevant organizations. Additionally, the committee disseminates information on O-RAN ALLIANCE test standards and certifications, and organizes PlugFest events for participation by various Korean companies.

Strategy

Strategy Committee Address Strategic Advancement of Open RAN Initiatives

The Strategy Committee monitors global Open RAN technology trends and collaborates with government bodies to launch Open RAN R&D projects. It also develops collaborative models and proposes initiatives to foster cooperation between Korean and international industries.
