ORIA's Board of Governors consists of up to 15 Co-Chairs. Currently there is one Chair and 10 Co-Chairs.
The Chair makes statements on behalf of ORIA and holds general meetings.
There is also an auditor who supervises the activities and property of ORIA.

Intellectualization

Virtualization & Intellectualization Committee Coverage of O-DU, O-CU and RIC (Ran Intelligent Controller)
technologies and standards

This committee shares O-DU/O-CU/RIC technology trends including international standards such as O-RAN ALLIANCE and 3GPP. It also identifies the status of Korean and international Virtualization & Intellectualization technology development and outlines a roadmap for Korean Open RAN technology development.

Open Solution

Open Solution Committee Coverage of O-RU technology and standard
and Interface between O-RU and O-DU

The Open Solution committee shares international standards trends and technologies related to Open RAN fronthaul. It also identifies the status of Open RAN use cases, RU equipment and components at Korean and abroad, and proposes profiling specifications for application in the Korean market.

Ecosystem

Ecosystem Committee Coverage of Demonstration projects,
Testbed, Plugfest, OTIC in Korea

The Ecosystem Committee plans Open RAN demonstration projects and sets the direction of testbed
construction to meet the demands. It also supports Open RAN conformance, interoperability and E2E test
certification through the Korea OTIC, a testbed built by relevant organizations. Finally, it shares information
such as O-RAN ALLINACE test standards and certifications, and arranges Plugfest in which various Korean
companies can participate.

Strategy

Strategy Committee Engaging with governments, Korean and international
organizations and driving industry collaboration

The Strategy Committee identifies international Open RAN technology trends and works closely with
governments to initiate Open RAN R&D projects. It also defines collaborative models and proposes cooperation ideas to promote collaboration between Korean and international industries.
